- What is the exact procedure followed with regards to management quota admissions .
- Is it a free for all , or do you need a certain SNAP score to be eligible ?
- What are the timelines for the same i.e. does the process start only after admissions for general category have ended or after immediate declaration of results ?

Neways...u r concerns are very much justified that the forms are not out yet n neither is the website up despite the dates mentioned above.
Let me assure you that the team here in SIBM Bangalore is working on the same and are in the process of finalising certain minor details about the admission process and the prospectus and its only a matter of time.
Moreover the delay is also due to some minor administrative issues at the University level, due to which all symbioisis institute forms have been delayed.
We will be putting up a notification in this space in the next 7 working days regarding admission,prospectus and also the website. Also application procedure will be available and open through the next few months till January.
Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted

Also regarding management quota, you would be required to apply separately to SIU, as also mandatorily fill individual symbiosis institute form( say SIBM or SCMHRD form) to be eligible for admission at the institute.
The Process normally begins after the entire normal admission process is completed and would be handled purely by SIU. Higher the SNAP score,definitely better the chances.
The fees is normally 3 times the general category fees (subject to changes)

However let me inform you that academic performance and work experience would only form a small part of the selection procedue for admission to SIBM Bangalore. The SNAP test score, GD/PI procedure would form a major chunk of the selection criteria for admission here.

So dont worry, your profile is definitely good and wish you all da best for SNAP.:happy:

Thank you very much for your reply. But can you tell me what was the cutoff for sibm banglore last year. Also as Sibm-bang had started this year only , so we cannot predict how the placements would be?

Last year the admissions for SIBM -Pune and SIBM-Bangalore were held jointly .The SNAP cutoff for a GD/PI was 85/180 with sectional cutoffs for open category. However this year SIBM-Bangalore will have a separate admission procedure, details of which would be communicated through this space shortly.

As you rightly understand one cannot comment for the placement figures as of now as the college has started only this year, however we would have our summer placements in the next few months so in due course of time would be able to give you an idea of the kind of companies visiting the campus.

Hi Jyo

To be eligible for admission at any of the Symbiosis institutes you would have to mandatorily fill up the individual forms distributed by the various institutes.

The SNAP test is just a pre-requisite and the score would be considered by all symbiosis institutes as a shortlisting criteria for GD/PI and admission procedures. Only writing the SNAP test would not make you eligible for admission at symbi institutes.
