one silly doubt:
i have taken a printout of the form which was available in the pdf format. Now there was also this envelope kinda printout. what di i need to do with that? Am i supposed to make and envelope of that and send the form in it?which would mean i fold the form. Or should i send the form in a different A4 envelope. If yes, what do i do with this?

Sorry if the question is too silly.

Shivani

3...why the ywant parent's signature in the undertaking?...my parents r outta town....will return tommorow.... is it neccesary??
Plzz reply..

Gaurav bhai..

1. Don't worry, (i wrote it as [B][T][e][ch], it's their fault they should have understood it)

2. Since it's a downloaded form, and not a actual bar coded form ( a careful look would tell you, there isn't any Form Number, had it been an actual form, it would have a number, also the form which you'll get alongwith prospectus, by default, would be having a Form Number too, below the bar code)
Those instructions are meant only for original barcoded form, so that one may not fold it through barcode, coz it may become difficuilt for the barcode scanner to read it)
If you had observed IIT, UPSC, AIEEE form, you would have noticed that they comes prefolded, in such a way that they can slip into the envelopes without having to fold them more, coz in that case one may not fold it through barcode.
Also take any entrance exam OMR sheet (like our own SNAP exam), it's clearly mentioned not to tamper the bar code, or write something over it.....same logic...

Now it's totally their fault that, though they ommited the Form Number under barcode in the downloadable pdf form, since it otherwise would have made all aspirant to have same Form number, which had created more confusion. Also they can't upload thousands of such barcoded form with different form number...illogical & not a feasable solution.

HENCE THEY SHOULD HAVE OMITTED THE INSTRUCTION
4. DO NOT STAPLE, PIN, WRINKLE SCRIBBLE, TEAR, WET OR FOLD THIS SHEET..

so you don't need to worry at all..

3. Same problem with me, i'm doing job in different city far from my hometown, hence it's not logical to wait for saturday to go home, just to get it signed, and then post later...last date would have come.

so either get it signed from any guardian, make sign of your parents, or sign yourself again on their bahalf.

It's again SIBM's fault.

Because at this point of time, parents are not supposed to sign on any undertaking, till we get conformed seat..

Moreover we're not kids.

If you would have observed, you wouldn't have seen any Form which has to be filled after 18+, which needs to have parents signature on it.

Take any form, like GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, IRMA, JMET, IOCL, NTPC etc...when you cross 18+, you have become self dependent to take decisions on your own..

so go ahead, don't get confused further (the same i had suggested you in my last post as well )

The payment through credit card process is as follows:

Online credit card payment through snaptest.org
Step 1: Visit snaptest.org and login with your snap id. Click on the ‘Make Payment’ option at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Select option #12 for SIBM Bangalore and click on the ‘Finalize the amount’ option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: You will be directed to the payment screen wherein you would have to enter your credit card number. The payment will then be confirmed and snaptest.org would provide a receipt/transaction number.
Step 4: Visit sibm.edu.in and download the PDF format of the application form. Send in the filled in application form and mention the details of the receipt/transaction number provided by snaptest.org.

Same happened with me.

I sent them the form, and paid later, else i would have mentioned somewhere in the form (say at top of it, with pencil)

Anyways don't worry, the'll get to know this by defualt, it's their task...
they'll check after reciept of your pdf form whether any payment has been made by your SNAP ID or not, and then only they'll consider it.

anyways you may wish to drop them an email with eyecatching subject "SNAP ID: XXXXXX Transaction ID: XXXXXXX, pdf form sent by snail mail"

Regards

Hi,
I have a very elementary doubt. I paid the 1300/- required through SNAP site. I received my prospectus yesterday .It contained an application form inside. Do I need to attach any other documents along with this form before sending it back to SIBM ? PLUS Do I need to do any other process online to complete my admission procedure.

Hi Satyakant,
I have one question regarding the application form:
Where do I put the details of all the certifications I have done ? There's no place to mention them in the online application form & I want to mention them as I have numerous Insurance & NSDL certifications .
