Sorry i can't compare FORE and SIBM Bangalore on this forum as it's not allowed under PG rules.
In due course I guess SIBM Pune's reputation will rub off on SIBM Bangalore. So don't bother much about placements n stuff. This year has been awful in terms of campus recruitments all over. I guess the best way to gauge SIBM Bangalore is to take a trip down south and get 1st hand experience.

Well i have been to SIBM-B campus n it sure rocks....... awesome acad building......... nice infrastructure.
got to interact with few students all seem to be intelligent.....
i think in coming future SIBM-B is going to rock.......

Hey Aditi,
Placement n pkgs is one way of judging the college, there r several other factors.......
I got a chance to visit there campus for GD/PI, they surely have a gr8 campus, better then most others. Students are also gud, i have earlier ineracted with other students also as i hv been attending various GD/PI, i found Sibm-b students quite impressive........
Location wise also Sibm Scores........
Moreover the SIBM brand name is more then enough to attract big names for placements.

i ws interested in e-cell initiative by sibm-b so asked a question abt it during qs-answer session and got a reply that it is concerned with projects with established entrepeneurs...blah blah(i dont mean it literally, actually i dont remember the stuff) and ws said that it has started but when asked abt it to the director during the interview he said that it is a plan and is not started yet we are planning it to start in near future  . seniors plz throw some light.

Greetings
We are here busy with our End Semester Exams and so are not able to reply to your Queries. I deeply apologize for the same.
Well... The Results would be out either on 20 March 2009 or 21 March 2009. I cannot tell you the Exact Date as it depends on some Approvals from the Management Side, as soon as we get the approval, we will display the Results on the Web site and I will myself post it here on PG as well.

It's
SNAP Score : 50 Marks (Method of calculation ...((Snap score)/(180))*50
GD : 10 Marks (leadership skills - 2marks, communication skills - 2 marks,
general awareness and content - 2 marks, team skills - 4 marks)
PI: 25 marks
Work Ex: 10 Marks
Acads : 5 Marks
