I guess you can take Sekhar's word on this issue. You mentioned that you have got a 66.XX in the last two sem..I hope it 60%+ overall too...to start with you apply for JMET right now..Rest you can take later on

In the JMET site IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IITR have asked for 60% plus..first class is not mentioned...Atleast you are eligible for these colleges...Rest i belive (though i am not sure) that the essence is 60% plus and not "only" first class..

I think u atleast apply for JMET..

all this will come into focud AS and WHEN calls come out . which is a direct function of JMET results, which are further dependent on JMET prep , which by all means is in shambles right now

A former classmate of mine, who's now at IISc , pursuing his Mtech scrapped me yest. He enquired at the office and it seems they will not be offering the MBA programme this year. That's what they've told him at the office.:death:

I guess this shud be on the JMET thread , but i thought I'd post it anyway in case it catches the eye of some prospective applicants like me

This query is regarding eligibility for SJMSOM.

I have done MCA and before that I have done BCA. In BCA I had 3 papers of mathematics in 3 semesters consisting graduation level Modern Algebra, 2D and 3D Co-Ordinate Geometry, Calculus and Numerical Methods.

Can someone from SJMSOM or from admin confirm that I'm eligible or not. In brochure it is mentioned that candidate must have B.E. or Master degree in Science.

Once the Jmet results are out(1st week of Jan), depending on your rank you need to apply to various IITs.Hope that answers your query.

Right now you donot have to do anything other than submitting the JMET form and sitting for the xam..
Once the JMET results are out ,the individual IITs will issue ads in the national newspapers asking for aspirants to apply for their individual MBA programs...
Then you have to apply separately to individual IITs depending on the rank you get in JMET...

Hi Bunny...

Last time a score of 58-59 (i guess) out of 150 would have fetched you a rank of 500...but again keep in mind that every college generally sees the sectional cutoffs too..So if u do badly in one section then getting a top rank also wont fetch u a call..

Also in absolute term the marks vary every year..
