i regestered in jmet online, i wrongly entered my birth date. in the online application. now i got bar code and also application no. ow i want to change that.tell me what should i do now. how to correct it.suggest me and help please. waiting for ur reply

Hello Anil, i'm facing a similiar problem. I forgot to mention the city name in my address. I e-mailed a query to them, and i'm quoting their response -

"Write a separate application for correction or editing and enclosed with
JMET application and send IITK".

So all you have to do is enclose an application (along with the other essential documents) which will specify your corrected details (DOB, in this case).

Regarding the cutoffs........ the last rank called was somewhere around 1670 odd..... well there are sectional cutoffs in JMET but its not too much.

send a separate application for correction or editing alongwith JMET application and send it as Soon as Possible. For furthur information contact IIT Kanpur through email or telephonically. also attach the documents related to date of birth, i.e. class X certificate or any other relevant document stating that.
