I want to apply IIT Roorkee. But I cant find its application form from the website.Please let me know where I can get it.

I am working in Kerala, so inorder to attend the interview I have to plan atleast one month in advance. Any idea at what time IIT Roorkee is planing to conduct interviews.

Hi seniors,
My AIR is 1763.(General Quota)
I am B.Tech in Information Technology.
I have 3.3 yrs work-ex in TCS.
Marks in X : 76% and XII : 65% and graduation : 76%
Can anyone tell me from which IIT's can I get a call?

People keep on aksing same questions, so answer is likey to be same. Yes, OBC quota will increase seats in genreal category, consider OBC seats are X% of Y. So, if initial number of general seats are not be decreased, as per Supreme Courts's directive, then Y(total number of seats) will increase, which effectively implies Gen's seat will increase

You can try your luck, I would say. Rs. 500 is a small fee, if lady luck shines on you, but your chances are slim.

1. The application form will be uploaded in a couple of days on the website. It's usually a small form, so you need not worry on the prt of filling the form. The last date would be 30/31 Jan 09 for acceptance of the form, and then the list of shortlisted candidates follows.

2. Interview may be conducted in Mid/End February, but this is tentative and unofficial.

Don't know about OBC category ranks, but you might like to give it a shot. Ultimate selection will depend upon the number of candidates who apply and their ranks.

But it appears unlikely at this rank.
