sorry.. not possible... as the link JMET :: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur clearly says, the only mode to apply is the online one and as you said the last date is past for it...

Hi,

I have submitted my form online and have sent the application form but I didn't receive any email notification that your form is submitted and the other silly mistake of not writing application form number on the enclosures. Please suggest what can be done?

Hi

I dont think you will receive any email confirmation.
Pls check ur status online (JMET website).

Still confirm the receipt of ur JMET form by calling JMET coffice.

An Email confirmation is sent as soon as the form is submitted.
The email has details about other documents that need to be sent along with the form.

Those who have submitted the form, but have not received the mail, kindly check your email id on the form. And please wait till your status is updated on the JMET website.

hi Bhupendra,
Nothing to worry as such about the content of e mail sent from IIT-K office. check whether email address entered by you is correct.You need your DD no and application number to login and to contact with IIT -K office..
The content of the email address sent to me as follows.....


Dear xxxxxxxxxxxx .,

You have submitted Application No. xxxxxxxxx with Bank Draft No. xxxxxxxxx
For further query you should use Application No. as login and Draft No. as
password.

Please paste a good quality photograph, attach the Draft and supporting
documents, and send the completed application form to The Chairman, GATE IIT
Kanpur, Kanpur 208016.



Please fill in the OBC non-creamy layer certificate in the format as attached
with this mail.

Hi,

I have got two mails from the IIT-K office

1. Stating that my registration is complete as soon as i printed the online application.

2. When it reached the IIT_K GATE office.

Also status got updated in about a week i.e 5-6 days after the form had reached there.

Hope this helps people who are waiting for a confirmation.

I don't it's written anywhere on the prospectus or the list of enclosures or even the application form.
