As per my exp. I don't think they give too much importance to individual years unless you have done some serious hip-hops (meaning taking a plunge in terms of % compared to previoys years) and the most important part:
Since u grad. in 07, I assume u r wrking, hence most of ur Ques wud come from wrk-ex and rarely from the colg stuff...

I was AIR 467 JMET 2008 and converted VGSOM last yr though didn't join. any queries pertaining to JMET. will b more than happy to answer

I also took a shot at it in my final year in 2006. Got a rank too...but twas something in 1700s, so dint get any call. Can you temme wat rank(till) the IITs call for GDPI?

I guess around 1650  (that was my rank at JMET-0  and was eligible to apply for the colleges... Applied to IIT R,K,M: calls from IIT R and K.

Back then I was not even aware of the fact that wwe do have to apply for IITs seperately. So, may be I've missed the bus.:laugh:
P.S.:- The calls went out there for 1650!!!:huh:y does it always rain on me....???

Ok, the cut offs are changing every year due to
- Competition is increasing every year.
- People/aspirants are getting aware about IIT as an viable MBA option.
Anyways, IIT M cut of last year was around 1250. People beyond this got calls because of there different profile.
