bro...there are lot of people who have the same problem as u have. Have patience if the form was delievered to IIT and it had to errors then it will surely be accepted and confirmation letter sent through the mail to ur inbox.

Hi I think JMET Office at IIT K will not reject an application without informing you through e mail and by post.

Last week I recieved both e mail and ietter by registered post stating that my OBC certificate was not proper.The letter which I recieved was titled ' scrutinizers checklist ' .This printed letter titled 'scrutinizers checklist ' had 5 colums

1) sc/st certificate not proper or attached
2) obc certificate not proper or attached
3) photograph missing or poor quality
4) signature missing or not in the box
5) no 10 th certificate attached

in d letter which I got ,a red tick was made against colum 2 .( obc)
and it also stated what I should do urgently...
It means that everyone of you who had committed one or more of the above mistakes will recieve a letter and e mail and will get a chance to rectify it.

Also it took about 3 weeks for updating my status in jmet site after sending jmet form.

don't worry dude, just keep working harder on preparations. There are examples of people joining IIMs after leaving job and preaparing for even one full year.
So it all depends upon your goals in life and the way you convince them during PIs.

Nice to meet someone from my domain.

Well before MBA if you are thinking of going in some telecom company then its really difficult to get in there because you need to have some reference in most of the cases .

If you wish to do MBA immediately after engineering then it would be better. For that matter IITD would be the best college for you as it provides MBA in telecommunications systems; but the seats are very few so you will have to get high scores. I would suggest you go through the following link to know more about the placements and pedagogy.
