Hi Sakti..

I don't have a sure shot idea about what the cut off were for SC/St in last year JMET examination..

My guess will be that in SC category a rank till 11000(AIR) would have QUALIFIED in the JMET (you have to clear the individual cut offs too) ..After that you have to separately apply for different IIT's and the IIT's (depending on the no. of applications that they receive from each category) gives the call for GD/PI.Being qualified do not mean that you will recive a sure shot call from any of the IIT's..

For the ST category i believe that it was till 13000 (AIR)..Same rule apply for them also..

It will be difficult to give the last rank in each category till which students were called for different IIT's since it depends heavily on how many people are there ahead of you and how many of them apply

It usually takes a week or so for the status to get updated. So probably by 22nd it would be done.

hi,
i had sent my application form no. 910400 to iitk on 6th oct. by speed -post the website status says it has still not been recieved . with the last date of forms reaching being this,i am afraid that my form will not be received. i have also lost the speed post receipt so couldn't even track that:-x:-x . can any student of iitk help me with my form status plz???

The JMET office here is yet to update the status of a lot of applications.
As and when the application is checked the status is being changed on the JMET website simultaneously.

Today and tomorrow being off, i would ask you to please wait till monday.
In any case, the application status will be updated beyond 17th also.

Hi,
I had sent my JMET form on 26th september and the speed post status is showing that it delivered the form on 30th september.But still my application status was showing that form has not been received.I haven't received the email notification as well.
I had written the incorrect pin code of my address on the online form initially, and after enquiry they told me to send an application making the required changes along with the submitted form.So,along with the form, i had also sent the application for the change of pincode.
The phone never connects to the number that is provided and there is no reply for the emails that i have sent to the JMET office.
I dont know what to do now and m very nervous as well.Plz HELP
