I am currently in seventh semester of BE, and I don't have 60% aggregate till now.But I am hopeful that I will be able to make it 60% till the last semester as the difference is very less.
So am i eligible for JMET? I may not be able to show that I have 60% at time of GD/PI in case I get shortlisted for it because at that time I will be having result just till sixth semester only.At which stage do they check the graduation marks...?
sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.

Hi vinit,
Officially the minimum percentage is 60. But I am not sure about your main doubt. Better PM rmbt, he'll know and even if he doesn't he is the one who can get you the info...

Last year close to 38000 toook the exam and you should get a rank of within 1000 to get calls from 2-3 IITs. THere after, it will depend on your profile.

If by 15th/30th jul 09(depending on the specfic IIT) you dont have 60% after 4 years of Engg, your admission offer will be void as you fail to satisfy eligibility criteria.

So just prepare for CAT, JMET will take care of itself. And from last year I can tell you this, in JMET, Speed and accuracy matter. There are a lot of questions, pick the easy ones and move on. Don't get stuck.
The prob with me that occured was i left veryu little time for DI and attempted only 5 Q in it but since my score was good in English and Quant, rank was just within the range. So, SPEED and ACCURACY ...
