Hello Seniors,

I have posted JMET online form along with necessary enclosures to IIT K office on 8th October. Speed post is showing that it is delivered on IIT K office. But when I try to see Application Status through IITK's GATE site, its saying that 'Application has not yet reached IIT K Office'.
Can you please throw some light on this? Are they still processing it?

It around a week to update the status on the website. If you still anxious about the your application reaching IITK, feel free to call them and enquire about the same.

I am not really very anxious. But wanted to confirm about time frame of updating status on site. So 1 week seems reasonable.

In my I have self attested my X marks sheet as no specifications on who should attest was given .
Is this fine or I must call IITK for clarification? :innocent:

I think attestation of the class Xth marksheet should be done by a gazetted officer only.............Self attestation won't do I think..........Please call up IITK without delay..............

Self attestation would not do as far as the procedure for last year was. Please do call JMET office and confirm the same

Hello Seniors,

I have sent my JMET form along with attasted marksheet and DD.
And in the form there were 2 places where signatures are required, but i did not see the place beside the photo and did my sign only at 1 place and sent the form. Today i saw one of my friend's form then only i came to know.
I am trying admission room's phone but the phone is not working, and on one other number no one is picking the phone.
So please suggest me what to do now. Should I send again the copy of same form with signature or mail the scanned form to them. or they will take the copy of my signature from where i signed on form.

Please help me out..what to do now?? My Application Number is 934286

Dear puys,

My friend called IIT-K office to resolve some problem.

The official there said that all the enclosures will be checked and they will be intimating either by mail or by post incase of any abnormalities in the form or if anything needs to be re-sent.

And then Oct 17th will definitely not be the due date to resend the enclosures with corrections they wud hav askd us 2 do.

So lets not worry now and lets and be patient:gunsmilie:

JMET doesn't give any percentile. The results will first let you know whether you have cleared the overall and sectional cut offs and then give you an All India Rank. Then you must apply to each IIT and other affiliated institutes individually by filling in their forms from their websites. Later on, depending upon your rank and profile you will get calls from the IITs. Then it will be the same as for other MBA entrance exams, that is, GD/GT/PI and a wait for your results.
