NO, you dont need to apply for different institutes right now. This can wait atleast till you give JMET. Check out for exact dates in the prospectus. But IITs make sure that you dont have to spend extra cash before giving the entrance itself.
Finally, each insti is separate from JMET. So, u wud need to apply separately for each one you wish to go for...

Yes u can go for ICICI as long as DD is payble at Kanpur , and benificiery name is correct..

The address that needs to be filled is the correspondence address or the permanent one??
and wat if the state of correspondence is different from State/UT of Permanent Residence??

Its better to give the address which is reliable and where the admit card can be send or dispatched from IIT K.
@ cataddict06......Better go for a DD from SBI or Syndicate bank. As said by Munna Man, web site clearly mentiones nationalised bank.

Yes, both are different.
- First one is to know your present address
-Second one is to know your permanent address and other contact details.

Hi guys,
Both JMET and TISS falls on the same date..I have completed my B.E but interested in pursuing HR..m confused as to which exam should i sit..though its a matter of personal choice m afraid i ll miss out a lot if i sit for TISS instead of JMET or the other way round..Pl help me with ur inputs..thnks..

When it comes to passion -Are you very sure that HR and TISS is thing or brand you want , if yes, then go all out for it.
Now if you are not sure about TISS, then JMET would be better choice as
you chances of getting into a B-school are better.
IN simple words, I think your heart says TISS where as mind says JMET.
You got to decide which suits you the best.

Hi rmbt,
Thnks for the suggestion..I have decided to follow my heart and take up TISS.HR,Sociology etc.,are exactly my cup of tea ..dont want to miss out on that..hope it yields +ve results in the end..
