Once you get the ranks after JMET, you apply for various IITs and then, IITs take work ex into account for short-listing.

Hi,
I have updated the xls with IITM data. The intake of 67 is after taking into account the 9% OBC quota increase for the current batch. It will further increase by 15% for the coming batch. Same will be the case for all IITs.

Hi All,
just needed one clarification.
On the website of JMET 2009 the following is written :
"The JMET 2009 will be of 3 hours duration. The test will consist of 120 questions (objective / multiple choice type) in the following sections:......."
Does this mean its of total 3 hrs with 0.5 hrs for filling up the details in OMR and 2.5 hrs for answering the paper or 3 hrs for answering the paper only ??

Dude,
Last year it is of two hours exam with 150 questions and not two and half
hours with 120 questions..I hope this time JMET is going to look a little bit
difficult compared to last year.

Hi,
I think "The JMET 2009 will be of 3 hours duration" means that you will have 3 hours to write the exam(10.00 to 1.00) and OMR filling up time will be seperate(9.30 to 10.00).So that's a major change from the previous years. Infact one of our Profs even told us about this in the class a few days back.

Please go through the guidelines of PG.
Comparision between B-schools is a strict NO-NO on the forum. So any post, comparing B-schools will be edited/deleted.
However, 2nd part of the question can be answered by the current B-schoolers.
As a pass out of DoMS, IIT Madras - I can say, Operations had loads of quant and taught by Profs of Btech.
IT was taken by the visiting faculty of TCS, EDS and Hexaware.
Cant comment on other specialization as the above mentioned were mine(Major/Minor) in MBA

Hi...can somebody pls tell me what do you mean by 'freshly' attested? I mean, i have copies of school leaving certificate that have been attested by my principal about 6 yrs ago... it does not have any date mentioning when it was attested...
