They are asking only a post graduation in any discipline. I am doing Final year MCA as a Correspondence course. Can i apply for JMET??. Is i have the Eligibility for these college????

they said its ok if the draft is drawn in favour of "organising chairman jmet 2008 - iit kanpur" as long as the draft is payable at kanpur.

A candidate with MCA degree is eligible for atleast 3 IITs including IIT D, IIT M and IIT R. However I'm not very sure about yours as you are doing correspondence course. Please ask (better call them) the concerned official from these 3 IITs. I hope you would be considered eligible.

P.S. You can confirm from IIT Kgp and IIT B also. IIT Kgp requires one to have Maths at Bachelor level and IIT B asks for Master with Science.

You can visit page 3 of this thread. I have shared two useful links there. One is of TIME website where you can see the patterns of previous JMETs and check how much stress is given to higher maths. The second is PagalGuy analysis of JMET 2007 where you can check the difficulty level of higher maths questions. Generally speaking, JMET english is easier than CAT english. But you never know how things are going to be this year.
