Hi,

The site clearly mentions that you need to send the DD along with the printout of the online application form. So, there is no question of sending out the DD now itself.

although its a repetition of what other guys have been telling, i would suggest JMET aspirants to maximise marks in other 3 sections and try to identify easy questions in math section which could vary from 6-7. try to maximise your marks. but then its personal opinion, somebody who is comfortable in math(as i was) could very well attempt 15-16 questions. make sure you give maximum time to LR, DI, English and Math in that order.

Puys need help with the following

2. DATE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE Enclose a freshly attested copy of your High School (Class X) Certificate as proof of age.

Is the high school certificate same as the Marksheet? By 'freshly' does it mean I need to go back to my school and get a copy attested? What of those who are working in different cities and can't pay a visit for some time due to work reasons!

Yes, high school certificate is suffice but if you have high school marksheet, send a photocopy of it.
Now, by freshly attested means, that you should get it attested in recent times. This doesnt mean that you have to go the school but you can also go to any govt official, notary or Principal of any college or School.

Though JMET doesnt contain the same surprise element as they have it in CAT but rising popularity of MBA in IITs have certainly made admission committee to re-structure the pattern and the difficulty level.

What will be the pattern, no of questions etc.- My guess is as good as yours.

Instead, I would recommend you to focus on the prepartion as preparing question paper and announcing results is there headache, our only focus is to crack the paper.

So study well and stop thinking about such speculations as the best way to handle any national level exam is to go with an open mind.

although the brochure mentions the first 1 i.e. 'Organising Chairman, JMET 2009' which i believe is the correct one
