The answer is three post above you :-)...
If u are preparing for CAT you need not do anything separate for english..
Maths u need a bit higher level of preparation..
But if u are good enuf in CAT level of Maths too u r thru..
go thru the previous posts..

i reached the site JMET :: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur

but no link is working from there on...
nothing happens when i click on Click here to Submit Application
and i cant even see the application form...

what could be the problem?...

JMET 2009 Online Application Submission will be Start from September 8, 2008 at 08:00 AM.

Please guide me for what topics i should go for for jmet prep,and how much time i should devote or how should i plan for preparing for jmet.

This is very subjective as no. of hrs differs from person to person.
I can just advice you to prepare well for CAT. After CAT, you will get 20 days to JMET in which you can go through the higher mathematics and solve few mock JMET papers.
