I am a b.tech (completed my grads ths year) in Information Technology..grads marks and X XII marks are decent enuf.....however no work-ex till now...
I am currently pursuing the CCNA certfification and shud get a job thereafter....will this add extra value to the mba profile specially whn i am applying to the IITs ??
Does an I.T certfication give extra value in the IITs ??

Is the part time programme at DMS IITD still active, Is the admission through JMET or a separate test. (The link at the website does not work properly).

Also if any alumni here, Can you tell me the class timings/weekend options.

Appreciate any help.

The admissions to part time are over. You can view part time 2009 notification at http://www.iitd.ac.in/deptt/ms/partt...DMBAPT2009.pdf

The classes are held 7-10pm weekdays and sometimes on weekends.

Placement assistance is not provided to PT students as of nw.

The test pattern is similar to CAT but comparatively easier.

As per the JMET 2010 websit, the IIT D admission eligibility criteria stands like this..
"
The candidates having the following qualifications are eligible to apply for admission to the MBA programmes:
Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (Minimum 4 years after 10+2)
Master's degree in any branch of Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce/ Economics"

So i guess u are eligible for the programme....

Ranks will be given to all the qualified candidates in jmet and the for iit delhi ,last year, calls were given upto a rank of 500 i guess...though im not sure abt it... i can safely say it is 500 as one of my classmates stood at 494...
