Hello Seniors.....when GD PI will be conducted.....i heard that IIT Delhi organise gd pi only at IIT Delhi campus......

A request to admission committee....if possible please try to organise gd pi in Mumbai and chennai also......IIT Delhi can surely get necessary resources from IIT Mumbai and IIT Chennai for conducting Gd PIs.....same applies to all other IITs......

We are also pushing for the increase in number of GD/PI calls for obvious reasons. We have put this word in out admissions committee faculty coordinator. The last word is of the "Senate" which will meet prior to sending the calls. I would suggest, you go ahead and apply since you would only need <10 seats increase in general candidates for you to get the call.

As of now only Delhi is expected to be the centre. Its not about the resources. Its about the faculty which has to travel amidst their schdule and IITD only has about 400 odd guys to interview. So its tough.

bt 2day when i saw it.. it has increased to 10928..
can it be any error ?? pls help

nd if in case its 10928 only do i ve any chance to get call frm IIT delhi

Thanx Fultoo_bakar for the answer.....but same thing is for other Instts also (i m nt comparing them with any IIT), but they organise GD PI in atleast 3-4 cities.....I thk admission committee can give this suggestion to their 'Senate'.....for e.g. if there are 6 PI panels and if IIT D sends its 2 panels each to Mumbai and Chennai then automatically students from near by these cities will gv their gd PI there only and burden of panels at IIT D wont increase......ultimately it is only about cost of travelling....i believe which should not be an issue for any IIT

The prime reason is the batch size. Since the number of interview calls are less compared to other B schools, hence the administration wants to pass on the pain to those selected fortunate or unfortunate ones. We can atmost give our suggestions. We have already put this forward. But the chances are less.
