May not be proper to ask in this thread, but do i stand a chance to get call form any IITs. Plz help.

Last year the last call for IIT K was given to a rank around 1600.
So you have a chance.
I would advise you to apply as the figures can vary from year to year.

Only other IITs you can expect a call from are IIT R and IIT M. Again these are based on last year facts, which can very well change this year.

As of now, 70% of the batch of 2009 (final placement) has been placed.
The summers placement for batch of 2010 is also in process. We cant divulge any more details as of now, but will come out with official placement report as soon as the placements are over.

Yes, you may apply, provided you meet the eligibility criteria which is specified on the IITK MBA homepage.

Based on the calls given by IITK last year (last call for IIT K was given to a rank around 1600) you have a slight chance of making it. I'll personally advice you to apply, as these figures change from year to year.

I have an AIR of 1458...with 16 months of work ex till date...X-82, XII- 92, Grad - 77(from IIT), with quite a good extracurricular record...do i stand a chance...??

The interview is a mix of work ex based questions,technical and non technical questions (HR,Current affairs,etc).
More importantly,Your approach and analytical abilities are judged.
