Hello everyone,

We do understand and acknowledge your concern and anxiety regarding the declaration of the results. We apologize for any inconvenience caused form our end. Having said that IITK never came out with the date on which the results will be declared, and you were only given a tentative date. As Siddharth has already pointed out, that we are not bound by declaration of result of any other institute, but still we, on our end, are trying to get it done at the earliest. But you should also understand that there are certain official procedures involved about which we, as students, cant do much.

Today is friday, and the office is closed on weekends, thus you guys can expect the result to be declared either on monday or tuesday.

Hope this helps. I request all of you to kindly be a little more patients.

can you share with us some of the placement stats for the 2009 passout batch ?

which were the new recruiters, highest and median salaries etc ?

it was shared in the presentation at the gd/pi, but difficult to recall ..

I m still unable to figure out what these official procedures are ? If the list is prepared, then 1 day to sufficient to get all the procedures done within an office. Moreover, this holiday logic also doesn't work, on one hand MBAs have to attend classes 24x7, on the other hand there are weekend holidays.

I wish they were finish all official work ASAP. Nyways, result is not within our reach, so we have to wait. There is no other option. But, I am worried that this sluggish approach of doing work shouldn't make many decisions late.

I hope, seniors will understand my words instead of groaning at me.

I am, literally, in dilemma because of IIT K result.

I have nothing new to add here other than what has been mentioned by Sumit and Siddharth.

I still remember my time, same time, last year.
The wait was killing and I too like most of you would constantly keep posting in the hope that the results would mysteriously appear outta nowhere

That never happened. But i also realised that the wait can be really fruitful at times and painful at others. And in a way, that hows life too us
We win some, we lose some... But what is more important is the zeal to try and not lose hope. A lot of things are not in our hands and when we learn to accept it do we realise that life could be a lot less painful.

As for the results, they should be out soon. Keep the fingers crossed.

Highest salary was INR 12.75 lpa and median was INR 8.36 lpa.
There were many new recruiters such as Deloitte, Vedanta, Care Ratings, PFC, Berger Paints, DCM Shriram to name a few.

We would be coming out with an official placement report soon.
That would make the picture clearer.
