For IIT Kanpur,

Last year call were given till 1600

This information is for General category and based on last year calls and there is no. But every year the scenario changes as the number of applicants within the given set of qualified aspirants keeps on increasing and hence competition keeps on getting tougher.

Sorry but you would have negligible chances at IITK.. It would be difficult to get a call even from IITR..

Apply to NIT Calicut if you wish, as you might get a call.. but as it is accepting JMET rank for the first time, nothing can be said bith 100% surety.

The last rank to get a call last year for general category was ard 1600
since this year the obc quota is being increased from 9 to 18% u may get a call..... its always better to apply than to later know that a rank below u have been called ..... so take ur decision.....

Do apply as we dont have a clear idea about the last rank to be called for obc... But I think u have a fair chance of being called ....

You have a fair chance of being called for GD/PI
Yes gd/pi's are held only at IITK...
so that u can have a first hand exp of the environment and can decide
