Well,since CAT score is being considered for the first time...nothing can be said about the cut-off.It depends on the applicants.Also,we don't know whether there would be any sectional cut-offs or not.According to me,a person having 95 percentile should apply to DoMS,IITM.

I'm in my final yr. So, i've no idea what to write for CLASS____
Also, in our college(CEG), we are following a cgpa system. But in application, there's a column called OVERALL %____. Below that, semesterwise breakups are there. Even if i write my equivalent % in overall column, what should i write for semesterwise breakups, cgpa or %. Also, can one come and directly submit the form or it should only be posted...

Having a CGPA and filling these forms is a real headache,isn't it?
The whole world uses the GPA system and these colleges are still stuck up with the %ages.Atleast use both..but NO..they want conversion.And they don't even know the difference between GPA and CGPA/OGPA.Some forms ask percentages per year and CGPA per year(not GPA!!!they don't even know what is cumulative and what is yearly!)...and during document verification they say you've filled in wrong info.

Anyway...I have been really fed up with these..and hence such a long ranting reply to your question..

now getting to the point..
It's IIT man.They know what CGPA is.If you see the heading,it says "Qualification and % of marks / CGPA
(SEMESTERWISE, if applicable)"

So just fill in semester wise GPA and overall CGPA.
That is what I did.
You can wait for a senior to reply and confirm it.

As for class,every college has it's own system.1st class is usually 60% or 6 or 6.5 CGPA.Check with your college.

Well,I would advice you to get another copy of your work exp letter attested and mail it alongwith a covering letter where you should mention your details and also write that you have sent the other docs attested.

It should be 'To Whomever it may concern'.In case you are still working and not getting a letter,then your joining letter and latest salary slip will do but everything has to be attested by a gazatted officer.
