Your chances are on a lower side but your work experience may fetch you a call. So please apply.

Last year, rank and work ex were considered while giving GT/PI calls while acads were considered only for final selection.

You have a decent chance. Please apply. Well, first class or second class, 64 percent is on a lower side. But with good GT/PI you can easily make up for it. We have many students in our class with percentage in this range. All the best!

You can fill the first year marks in the space given for first and second semester. I guess this should be fine as you will anyway be attaching all marks sheets. However, no harm in confirming with the admissions office.

The IIT-M form doesnt ask for Sectionals(for CAT) at all. So how and when will the sectionals come into play? I thought they're looking only for overall percentiles. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The institute will know the sectionals from the CAT scorecard photocopy/printout which you will be sending.
