hi ! i think you can take the 5 to 7 range applicable to this college too ( that too is a very conservative estimation). the first batch has only gone through 10% of their placements. A few hospitals from Dubai have come and also a couple of IT companies. The pharma, insurance, NGO and indian hospitals will be coming by Dec/Jan

Sorry i cant comment much on IIHMR as it was not one of my options and hence did not even go for it. I hear it is a pretty decent college with good past history. So decide based on your personal requirements

this thread is to help aspirants make informed decision. please try to understand that we are not able to give any placement figure as it is still on...rather say just getting momentum[10% as major said]. unless we cover 80% of the batch, giving you any figure will lead you into wrong direction.you will probably over or under estimate. let me giv you an eg...[please dont try to find any hints here. im just using the figures for illustration]

what if i tel you that the salary range is 4-6 as of now and later it comes down to 3-4...? what if i tel you the avrg salary is 5.5 as of now and later you figure out the avrg salary of the complete batch is 3.5...? to make it any range of institute you hav to wait untill atleast 85-90% placement is done. this will avoid wrong intrpretation.

figures will be given as soon as possible

when did the college start and are the students in 1st year or in 2nd year from the 1st batch.and whats the ratio of work ex to the freshers.

SIHS came under SIU in Nov '06...you can consider it as the 'start'. MBA-HHC started on '07. the 1st batch students are in 4th sem [2nd year]...the 1st batch is MBA-HHC 07-09, the 2nd batch is MBA-HHC 08-10. the current admission process is for the 3rd batch i.e. MBA-HHC 09-11.
46% of the 1st batch is fresher. i do not have exact information of the 2nd batch [08-10]. check the link for detailed batch profile of MBA-HHC 07-09:

one has to wait a bit longer than december-end for the placement figures. officially our placement activity will be ending on 14th Feb. but we have 'placement weeks' ending on 31st Jan. so probably by 2nd feb placement figures will be available.
