hi old monk..... could u please help tell me about overall imperation of the institute...... i mean if i do MBAfrom SIHS..... then how it going to affect my life... is it like i will get good opportunity abroad also....? please help..:confused::confused:

Hi

How MBA-HHC gonna affect you life...its a very difficult question. i need to know what kind of life you have or you expect to answer that question properly.

in my case, ill cherish the experience im having here all my life.

'opportunity abroad'...it depends. in my opinion, developed countries dont value any 'course' as such...they evaluate you by relevant work exp only. it might hold some value in developing countries. but its main focus is indian healthcare scenario. so plz keep that in mind.

hey thnx alot.. friend... one more question i wud like to ask ... that is--i have seen a lot of recruiters list on the website of SIHS...... so if u r there (if got placed or studying )then u can surely tell us previous Packages and all..........

Hi

The 1st batch is passing out in july 09. so there is no "previous" placement records.

"a lot of recruiters list on the website..." if i remember correctly that list is given under 'Academic Partners & Summer Recruiters'

Our placement is goin on, i wont be able to comment on it.

I want to know few things about selection criteria in sihs.SNAP score is taken into consideration only for short listing of candidates for gdpi only OR it is added to ur gdpi score and then total score is considered for final selection . I will be glad if u can help so i can gear up myself for gdpi prep atlest.

tat decision is with the selection panel only. i have no idea about it...

but why bother...? if you get a GD-PI call you have as much chance of geting the final call as any other candidate on the list...tats why they are taking the the GD-PI. if the SNAP score have certain weightage n yous score isnt that much strong, so be it...you work on other areas well n make it up. n if you have a very good score and u r thinking that the score will sail you through...well, in my personal experience iv seen people with 50+ score getting rejeted over a candidate of 30+ score simply because of a bad GD-PI.

my personal guess is: final score includes everything. SNAP is over, you cant do anything about the score now. the only thing that you can do somthing [or a lot of things] about is the GD-PI. so work hard n smart on it.

forget these which-part-gets-what-weightage thingy right now, its a waste of time...nothing else.
