Hi,
With due respect to the seniors helping us with info on MBA HHC ,i think there are many science grads like me who need lil more advice on this course...If it is possible can we have a a non medico,non pharma student from your batch to help us with a few queries we have?

all i can tel you is your score is a good one and there are two seats for kashmiri migrants over and above the total intake of 80. but i have no idea about the number of applicants for those two seats and their possible score. so its not possible for me to tell you anything solid on your chance. im sure you will be able to understand the problem. as students we are not authorized to look into official matters. so cant help you.

getting tensed wont give you anything. why dont you become a bit more optimistic and start preparing for GD-PI...its wise to always hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

Well...we cant help you with that.

but i dont think any other grad will give you any different kind of advice other than what we are giving. let me assure you one thing...both major and myself are good enough on handling all the queries. there's no need to assume that a medico will not understand the situation of a general grad aspirant or will always paint only rosy picture about everything just becos its good for him/her. we are aware of the situations faced by all our batchmates. so all you have to do, my dear friend, is to trust us a bit more.

these postings are not the only advice we give. there is an option of private messages i hope you have noticed...

i can understand its a big step in your career and you need solid information to take that step. but you have to understand one thing, none of us is an official working with the institute. we are student and there are so many information that we dont have or not authorized to process or can not post them on a public forum. counting all this running a thread isnt easy.

post whatever queries you have and we'll see if we can be of any help.

im afraid i can predict your chance of GD-PI call. you have to wait till the list comes out.

last year's cut-off was arround 40. this time cut-off will increase or decrease...cant predict.

No edu-background will be given any kind of pref,fast or last, during admission procedure thats for sure. once you get a GD-PI call you have as much chance of making the final call as any other candidate. that much i can assure you. during placement it completely depends on the company and the position its taking you for. as of mow most of the companies prefer Docs. but there are also a lot of companies which give pref to only your preformance during the placement activities. there are plenty of egs of general grads getting the job over medicos.

applying for it and joining it has huge time gap inbetween. your confusions, like placement n all, might get clear in that gap. once you get the final selection call then only you have to decide. n im sure by then you will be able to make up your mind. so ill suggest you to apply. its good to have option in hand. you will finaly join or not, tat question will come later.

I am Grishma singh and a student of Biotechnology Hons.First of all i would like to Congratulate you for running such a wonderful and successful thread.
Sir I would like to ask you that , Do SIHS gives any preference to Biotech students? as someone told me this.
I got 38.5 in SNAP 2008.Can i expect the call? I know you have already mentioned in your previous replies that you cant actually comment on selection process,but you are my last hope from whom i can expect the correct information regarding the above query.
I am a very hard working person and always consider my work as my worship.Unfortunately this time i scored low,hence now a days I am bit upset .Your help may provide me a new hope.
