Hi seniors from Pharma MBA(NMIMS),

I wanted to know about NMIMS MBA(Pharma) exam which is sheduled on 15th March 2009.

1. I know the pattern, but what is the level of difficulty of various sections. Is it of same level as NMAT (28-12-200 exam for core MBA?

2. Subject knowledge section has 40 questions. Are these questions generally very basic? and how much time one should devote in this section?

3. What should be a good score in written exam for a fresher to convert finally? what could be the sectional cutoffs approx.

4. Is there negative marking in exam? if yes, how much? There is no information about negative marking in prospectus.

5. Also, How much weightage does work-ex has? Is it possible for a fresh B. Pharma graduate to get selected?

are companies coming for placement for finance students and overall??

Hi Abhishek,

Placements at NMIMS have been affected by the slow down and I really do not find any B-School which has not been affected at all by the slump.

Placements have just got started at NMIMS and we do find a slow trickling of Financial Firms at our institute. Though the circumstances are not as rosy as it used to be a year back but we are able to place students in the Financial Profiles.

hi vikas ronnie here.hey actually called up nmims so as to confirm the paper pattern for the pharma knowledge test especially.they said basic knowledge of pharmacy.can u plz enlighten what do we specifically have to study
