What is the Question pattern for NMAT??Is it same as the MH-CET or is different in some other aspect.Someone plz elaborate.NMIMS does not have MBA(IT or Systems) and MBA(Finance) .Here i am a newbie

I have decide to take the MBA as a career goal very late. (Only few months back). I have purchased a few study materials and have gone thr. all of the sections. I am able to do justice to all the sections EXCEPT the QUANTITATIVE and DI mathematical sections. The problem is that I have filled up the Narsee Monjee test form (NMAT) and the time left for the ent. is very less and I need to do holistic preps. Can anyone please help me with the names of some very good books/ guides on the QUANT and DI (Mathematical) sections that would be helpful within a short span of time with good and positive results.

Hello,

We do have many freshers in our class. Near 30% of students are freshers. You need to make sure that you score well in Written exams. FYI

The MBA Focus Programmes of the School of Business Management in Actuarial Science, Banking, Capital Markets, Global Business, Retail Management and Services Management are being restructured and merged with the Flagship MBA Programme from 2009-11.

All students joining the MBA Programme in 2009 will have the option to take functional specialization elective courses and at the same time have option of domain focus in areas such as actuarial science, banking, capital markets, global business, retail and services in the second year of the MBA Programme.

So, if you are interested in Global Business request you to apply for NMAT as there will be no separate exam for NMIMS Focus Programs.

i have given my tybcom in 2008 and have failed in three subjects with 43%. i gave the oct exam for the 3 subjects i failed in . i think i will clear my two subject and doubtful for the third one. if i fail in the third subject and clear the third subject in april 2009 with overall 50% in tybcom than m i eligible to give nmat entrance test in dec 2008.
