Traditionally MBA is a Master of Business Admin in which u master in any one field like Finance or Marketing in the second yr but IB - International Business MBA is different in this sense that it will be covering most of the topics & subjects related to International Business which is one of the most upcoming fields of specialisation in a MBA...

Go for MBA is ur not sure as of now in which field u want to specialise but if u think that u can do IB..then go for it...

By doing specialised MBA prgms like IB & Agri...U tend to restrict ur area of operation to that field only...

So make a wise choice and go ahead with that...

I am an aspirant for your 09 11 program.I have one query regarding my eligibility.I have failed in my final sem xams held in this may(due to a serious health reason which i can prove beyond reasonable doubt).I will be giving my exams this nov and am confident of clearing them.My question is,am I eligible to apply for your college's program?
I tried sending a mail to SIIb but there was no reply
And will I get a say in the second round if i get a call or do I have unconquerable disadvantage due to my acads?

What is the fees charged to you guys currently in the I year there? The web page at SIIB website says 3.8 lakhs per annum. That amounts to 7.6 lakhs together of two years. Read: Fee Structure
I'd read somewhere in this forum that last year the first installment was 1.3 lakhs and the total fees was like 4.5 Lakhs of 2 years.

Please clarify, and if the fees has been hiked by such a high amount, the n what is the reason behind that? is there anything special which the institute is going to provide over last 2-3 years' batches? Or this fees is for the brand name and placements only?

they are out from 7th....please go and download yours from Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) for admission to Symbiosis Postgraduate degree programs

The SNAP admit cards are already out. Go to Login Ensure to open it in Internet Explorer.

Hi Folks... I have completed the online registration for SIIB-IB. After completing the form, I also entered the payment details (DD Number, Bank Name, DD Date, etc). Now, what all do I need to send alongwith the DD to SIIB (application form printouts etc)? And, correct me if I'm wrong... the prospectus will be sent after the receipt of DD??

AS per the admission procedure mentioned in the website, a mail will be sent to you confirming receipt of the payment by SIIB. After that you will be sent the SIIB prospectus which will take some time.
