well i am also one of the members in the pool of aspirants for SIIB 09 batch. I would just like to ask the seniors giving them a glance of my profile , whether i am having any chances if i manage to get thru the snap cut off:
10th: 83%
12th:84% (agg)
BE Electronics from VIT: 62%
PGDIB from SIMS (part-time): 67%
Extra curicullar:
National level tech paper presentation, national level aero modelling, national level business plan presentation, High altitude trekking prog..
Work Ex:
Working in a top instrumentation company in field of automation sales and marketing for india and international markets for last 28 months.

Your profile is good. 1st and foremost thing is SNAP.
But yes, while giving out calls for GD/PI, SIIB considers academics and work experience.

I emailed 2 times to the admissions team of SIIB but haven't got a reply :(.
I paid by choosing axis bank method and the sent the challan by courier. It's been more than a week now. 2 questions

1) Has my payment been recieved and has my application form been accepted?

2) When will SIIB dispatch the prospectus.

In the earlier posts its written tat the cutoff for SIIB was 81..Is 81 the Snap score alone or (snap score + other weightages)..?

Do you have a cut off for the age of the person taken into consideration.

If someone has 3 years IT work exp with onsite work exp.:angel:

Decent academics (between 70 to 80%) in X,XII and Engg and lots of participation in extra curricular activities.:new_scatter:

How would you rate such a profile.:

What kind of snap score might be required to get a GD PI call.

and engg. and workex and academics???
also y is dere no weightage given to commerce grads??
