Re: SIIB Admission 2009-11 Helpdesk -

Hi guys i have a query ! I had completed my graduation in 4 years instead of the regular stipulated time of 3 years due to some personal reasons.I did not pursue the 4th year in the regular mode and just gave the degree exam and passed out with 1st division. As in the eligibilty clause of sibm it clearly states that candidated appearing for degree exams externally are not eligible to apply to the institute.I have not been able to confirm this from the college authorities. I request someone to confirm this from college authorities if iam not eligible to apply to sibm.
cheers
shyam

The main deifference b/w a regular MBA and an MBA-International Business is that In MBA-IB, you will go through some international business related subjects as well such as International trade Logistics, FOREX, trade Finance, Int'l Marketing/Finance/HR, EXIM, Foreign language etc.....These will add value to your regular MBA.
regarding profiles, at SIIB, in the past, many of our alumni had got int'l profiles in the companies (I doesnot mean they got forein location ... ok..)
For furthur queries, refer our website.. siib.ac.in

Yeah...the so called "classical" foreign trade profiles...although we have moved away from these profiles...the demand for such profiles remains strong especially for people who aspire to take up the SCM specialisation in 2nd year at SIIB...cheers !
