Hi all,
we if we talk about the CUTOFFS for LAST YEAR- "a student of 0 work ex and a snap score of 74, was IN for the interview."
If that is the case and we see that SNAP 2008 was tougher in competency, the Cut Offs for this year would NOT cross 70-73 for SIIB.
*data provided for last yr was abs accurate, coz i was there in the interview hall with that guy and many others.

Hey Deepika.siib,
its very disappointing to see prospective managers shell out incorrect data about Cut Offs for last year.
The cutoffs have been exaggerated to a gr8 extent i.e 85......  but in actual it was around 74......I would request every1 not to feel disappointed for any reason, as you still have a chance, see my previous post......enjoy and Rock on.

10th std score is: 82.93%
12th: 73%
currently in my final year bcom....

according to IMS key am getting only 53 as overall cut off .
can have varition of around 5 mrks cuz many feel IMS keys are ambigous...
i have 92 in XII , 88 in XX and 86 in B.E EIE.
have been school sports captain , active rotaractor for past five years , held offices of Seceretary in Rotaract CLub , Dept Association , Cultural Secretary .
Presented papers and thesis in various symp and won prizes.
University rank holder in State ( 19th Rank).
Do help me bout my chances...???

Can anybody tell how much weightage does the work-ex carries for siib gd/pi call......!!!!
I am engineer elex and comm. with 76.6% marks in graduation.......work-ex of ard 21months(IT MNC).............!!!

Theres nothg to get offended at all.
Snap score is not the only consideration that is taken while giving a call. U can c the site n u wud know tht there r othr criterias like work-ex, educational background etc which r taken into consideration n overall weightages r provided to all of em. N finally an overall cutoff is taken.
Exact official criterias r known only 2 college n if u ve the official info tht it was around 74 thn its really nice tht u r sharing it wit every1.

hi puys..acc 2 IMS my SNAP score is 70.25..
I have 88% in class X and 84% in class XII.
had 78%in Btech course.
Had been participating in innumerable extracurricular activities(extempore,recitation,singing etc etc) in school.Had been the school capt.participated in organizing tech fests in college.
just wanted to know if its justifiable for me to apply for SIIB.any suggestions from the seniors wud be highly appreciable.

I am getting around 70 + ...have 82.1 % in Class X(state board) and 80 % in Class XII(state board)...B.Tech 77.2 ( first class distinction from NIT) ..have state highest marks in Chemistry in Class XII..have almost 4 yrs of work ex from reputed MNC..completed NSE's certifications on financial market and Derivatives...won 1 All India competition ..and won many prizes in district and state level...
Puys please help...what are the chances of SIIB call?

Based on last year's cutoff for IB I wud say, its pretty difficult.
