Specialisation subjects also include International Business, for eg. International Marketing for Marketing Specialisation, International Trade and Logistics for SCM, Multinational Financial Management for Finance.
I think these subjects, generally do not form part of a regular MBA curriculum.
Adding to what nimit has said, specializing in IB or ABM won't narrow your options. Infact you have more information about the business at a global level because of the kind of subjects being taught. IB also gives to specialize in Finance, Marketing etc

Re: SIIB Admission 2009-11 Helpdesk - 19-12-2008, 08:35 PM

Helpdesk,

Till what date is the work-ex supposed to be mentioned in the online app form for SIIB? I would complete almost 31 months of work ex till 31st Dec 2008 considering my start of work from 12 Jun 2006. Please let me know if this is correct. Also is 31 months a sign of some leverage on the cut off marks in SNAP for SIIB?
Also I have read posts where people have mentioned the discrepancies in payments received at SIIB. Those who purchased the prospectus through snaptest.org find that their payments are not updated on SIIB's site whereas those who paid on SIIB site rarely have this problem. So does it mean registering for prospectus on SIIB site makes more sense?
Last question to disturb you guys is it ok to register now and pay later of course before the last date?

Thanks,
Amit.

Hi Amit
1. The date till which u have to mention ur work-ex is mentioned in the application form itself. Last year it was till August if i remember correctly.
2. It takes time 4 the website to get updated so I dont think it matters from where u register.
3. The institute shud receive the payment b4 the last date as is given on the site Welcome to SIIB . Registration can b done anytime.

Last time different weightages were given to the stream of graduation, work-ex etc and overall cutoff was around 85 i guess.
