You are exactly right. We are taught subjects like Export and FTP, Import Management, Forex Management and a Foreign language.
Specialization starts from 2nd sem and not second year.
Specialisation subjects also include International Business, for eg. International Marketing for Marketing Specialisation, International Trade and Logistics for SCM, Multinational Financial Management for Finance.
I think these subjects, generally do not form part of a regular MBA curriculum.

hey puyz...jus 1 query for the SIIB FRENZZ..
here is my profile jus lemme no abt how gud it is and using the previous years pattern..how many added marks i mite get??
SSC -79.6%
DIPLOMA [EXTC] 74.5%
BE[UPTO 6TH SEM] 62%

PLZZZ HELP...
AND 1 MORE THING.
i undertook 2 mocks scoring 53 and 62 respectively...u think dat it is gud enuff for me to cross 80 in the actual snap..

hii, i've applied for SIIB through Axis bank but the seal which is put by bank doesnt contain any challan no.how do i change the payment details at SIIBs website website as its asking for challan no.?will i get some sort payment confirmation?

Keeping in mind the previous year cutoffs of around 72-75...u can jst get a fair amount of idea about SNAP as a paper by giving mocks but as your mocks score suggest that you are lying in the 50-60 bracket...

Its a bit less to get a call from SIIB but the remedial action should be in place by now...Identify the strongest point of yours and try to build on your score in that and practice as many mocks as u can to get that speed as speed is key in SNAP....

Rest your acads seems to be fine enough but keep your focus on SNAP as of now....

Hi everyone...

I had applied for SIIB along with SNAP at snaptest.org on 17th Nov... I had paid the money for SIIB there itself.. I have got the form also... Now, after filling the online application form, for payment option, I selected paid at SNAP, for which the message was shown as "Will confirm after receiving information from SNAP secretariat".. even now the same message is being shown.. Application status is being shown "Completed" and payment status is being shown as "Amount due Rs.1300, Amount received at SIIB Rs.0".. So how and when will I know that SIIB has received acknowledgement from SNAP?? I had mailed to SIIB admissions and got a reply as "if you have filled online application form and made the payment, then your application process is complete"... But in the payment status it is showing as Amount Received is Rs.0... can any of the seniors guide me in this??

It takes some time for the updated status to be displayed so dont worry if you have already made the payments.
