i went to dse...they are not disclosing any thing...but they said,for general category,the no. of seats are 29-30...NOW WAT IS THIS? 29 OR 30???? they didnt say anything on that.then they said it might be 31-32...lolz...i think there is no fixed no..they might be expecting that if Quota seats do not fill up,then they can increase the seats for GEN category..Its times like these when a hatred for our country's education system begins to creep in.....no offences people,as i do not want to spark off any debate...we have to move on with watever we have....

the person at MIB explained me that earlier there used to be 40 seats for each course but after the quota implementation....the universities have to increase their seats by 18% each year for a period of three years so 40 seats after 18% increase become 47 seats and thereby there is a increase in the seats for general to 30-31 though i dont know how many seats were there for general last year.....

i just want to know is it the merit list??or simply the list fr GD/PI shortlisted candidates??

Check the list again, its clearly mentioned at the top:

where it is mentioned 80 seats.. i mean on that webpage.. it is of 2003.. n i guess the info was fr 03-05 batch... do read the matter given below at the page

Agreed that at the bottom of the page, something about 2003 batch etc. is mentioned but in any case, seats wouldn't have been decreased from 80 in 2003 to 40 something now

Also, when one checks the website of any educational institution, one expects the latest information to be put up there, which gives me no reason to believe that the data is outdated now.

Anyways, lets wait for the seniors to clear the air rather than speculating.

Did 115 in all with a max 32 in ps n 21 in gk,
got thru both mib n mhrod
n i don't think that mib's cutoff is higher than that of mhrod for many of who've been selected for mib have not been for mhrod or that might be because of ppl applying to mib only.
