Nobody knows if a cutoff will be there or not. Last time it was not mentioned. Go for maximisation first but have some marks in english. Some OK kinda figure...
lsttym Cutoff was said to be around 30.77, the lowest I heard. Max junta qualified around this score & of those incidentally or otherwise people had marks in this section. It was around this score that some junta was left out...So some kinda sectional cutoff was operating in this region
But I cant recall of anybody who was higher in score and dint get a call..

So just go and score max above junta...and have some OK english kinda score.

PS: But considering the fact that DI was very undoable, veryfew could have scored thr..And with a lot of marks up for grab in english so ultimately people who finally scored above cutoff couldnt have done it without english at all...

We got these files last year from ims, so possibly the awards or such things might differ but obviously the static part would remain same.

Also those students who are from CL...pls do collect the mocks of IIFT from their respective centers...

IMS is also giving one mock to all its students for IIFT...

Hi,
I guess you need to be good in English to clear IIFT. I had got a cscore of around 31 and didnt get a call. THeir GK is a mix of easy and tough questions and can be fun (last year there was a question on matching BOnd girls with the bond movies they appeared in as well as mathcing comic charaters with their creators.DI was damn tough and Maths was average.

I got this one answered already. They said no such thing but read instructions carefully just in case.
But the problem is nothing is mentioned about "sectional competency" in the instructions. Can we assume that there is and there will be sectional cutoffs this time as well??

Cut-offs of just the sections need to be cleared, not the sub-sections.

Its always safe to assume that sectionals will be present and work accordingly. And the thing about "sectional competency" would be mentioned on the question paper, they generally don't wrtite it in the brochure.
