hi. there were four sections in the last year's paper.with all of them except gk having 2 subsections each. the sectional cut offs were only for sections and not for subsections.
total cut off was 30.78.gk cut off was 0

no one would have received the brochure just as yet.. it will still take time... as of now just confirm that your application has been received at iift...

do iift announce their cutoffs every year?dont they do it for each section?
1 more thing about the 2008 paper.what i found out that the reasoning section was damn easy.so one could have done all the questions of that section to maximize their scores.

cutoff for gk-- zero?? thts strange..

i ahve bought the hard copy....i have a couple of queries....

1.in the coloumn of 'name of university/institution' what do i write, the name of the college or just the university??

2.and,in the coloumn of work experience,what do i write?..'nil' or '0'??

i sent the form on the 19th of august. on the website it says print out received. now i wanted to know when is IIFT going to send the admit card etc?

The candidates will receive the admit cards in first week of November. so just take a chill pill and concentrate on your preparation.

Hi Puys,
I am trying to fill application online. When I select payment mode as Credit card, it is giving me warning "Credit card service is temporarily un available. Please pay through DD only".
So, what should I do now? Do I need to take a DD and send it along with print out of online application to them?
Please reply ASAP.

I received my brochure about 2 weeks back.
But then i sent the form within a week of it coming out.
Dont worry you'll get it in a week or two.

i had recieved the information brochure...
but the status is not updated in site

is their any cause for worry
