Hmmm, I don't think it should post a big problem. But yes make sure that u retain the copy of the application that u would send to IIFT. It's always advisable to retain sufficient copies of all your correspondences to the various institutes whatever they be!!

I am trying it for Last 3 days..I have filled the online form and i am going to the print page.But when you press the print button then nothing is happening.In the window Bar down i see as 'Error on Page'.Has anyone faced the same issue ?? Do we need to press the Finish button and then take printout ??

Hi Guys.. I Hope you guys can help me out.

I applied for IIFT by online and in that process , I forgot to note down my application number and while on print screen I mistakenly clicked on Finish.

now I don`t have a print out of my application number.

I tried to mail them from the contact us tab , but when I submit it. it shows me a server error.

I tried calling the IIFT numbers in their site, they where busy.

can any one help in this regard..

Do we have to Finish the application first (Press the Finish Button)
Before Taking the Printout ?? And then Login again and take the printout.
Please help.

you need to take the print out first and then finish. Once you click on finish it will close.

The transaction reciept no. is for those who are paying through Credit card. I also paid through the DD and that particular is blank in my form too, my friend applied using her credit card, and her transaction reciept number is printed on it. So, I guess I am at the correct conclusion.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Dont click on the finish button as it might signify that you are done with the print out and now dont need it. So you can always close the box or go back. But dont press the finish(oops..click the finish) button. Yes, you can login again and can take the print out as many times as you wish.

P.S. :- No need to click on the finish button, everything works just as fine without clicking it.

For those who have paid through credit card and are now unable to take the print out.
One of my friends faced this problem and I sent a mail on his behalf.
This is the reply I recieved from IIFT.


Dear Navneet,
Please fill another application form with a fake Demand Draft details like 6 digit DD no, any bank name and any date and try to take the printout of it with a fresh application no.
Along with the printout please write an application in a blank sheet indicating the following:
Your credit card no - last four and first four digits Credit card issuing bank date on which you made the payment Transaction receipt no. of your payment
Please send to IIFT the printout and details of your credit card.
Before sending the hard copy please email us stating that you have fill up a fresh application form with a fake DD details and sending the hard copy of the same.
