Guys,

I got 2 questions:
1. I heard something about the last date for apps by post has been extended. Is it true?
2. Everytime I try to pay by CC, the damned site says "CC payments not available. Draft Only". This has been happening atleast since the 18th of Aug. Anybody seen this?

There is a good chance my friend. 40% of our 2008-10 batch are freshers. Just give it your best shot in the written exam, GD-PI and I am sure you will make it

I too am getting the same problem....does that mean that we cant apply thru Credit Card anymore....please do let me know@IIFTians......help reqd....

well i guess if I do a DD and then fill the online application....I just have to send the application n DD and the reqd documents by 3rd september, right???
Cud someone please confirm abt this CC issue or else I wud make the draft on tuesday....or else it wud be late......
One more thing....is the application available @ IIFT??? If i get it from there....does that mean I need not fill the online thing????

As quoted by navneet in his earlier post. He got a mail form staff saying that they have disabled the option of payment through credit card. Now you can only pay through DD.

No now you cannot obtain application form from IIFT. The last date is over.

Can I send the form by courier?
IIFT ppl haven't yet replied to my this query.
And phone , no one picks it up.
Just asking, anyone who sent by courier and his/her form reached?

M in office , so planning to send by office courier as no post office nearby. :(

People I have a small problem.I sent my application on the 13 of this month by speed post but the status shows application not received.I tried calling iift but either the phone lines are busy or no one picks up.

Do i send my application again?Anyone else having the same problem ?

It generally takes about 4-5 days to update the application status online. Just to be sure you may check the delivery status of ur speed post.

Hello,
I have applied online and send my application form to IIFT on 11/08/2008, but when i checked the status of application form, it is showing printout of aplication form is yet not received.
I am trying to send mail to them but it is getting bounce and trying to call them on the given phone numbers but no one is picking the phones.
kindly let me know whether I should send the application form again to IIFT center.

Guys,

Just to be very clear, and basically compile the info in multiple posts, here's what I gotta do:

1. Get a DD made.
2. Fill in the online app.
3. take printout of reciept.
4. send reciept, dd and other stuff before the 3rd of september.
5. wait for status to change online.

Please confirm this, or let me know what needs to change. I'm planning to do all this today, so an early reply is appreciated.
