I think I am facing problems because i used a courier service to send my application form. I used FedEx. My application, according to FedEx was delivered at IIFT on August 19th, one day before the last date. But when i check my application status, it says that my application printout is yet to reach them!

Will this create a problem? I am little worried as August 20th is past!

Also, what is this about 2 last days? Aug 20th and Sep 3rd? Can anyone clarify?

Hi,

It usually will take a weeks time for your online status ti be updates,so if your courier guy has confirmed that he has delivered,just relax,no issues..

Please make note of these imp dates for IIFT:

Last Date for Sale of Prospectus by post : 20th August 2008
Last date for Sale of Prospectus across the counter at IIFT : 3rd September 2008
Last Date for Receipt of completed Applications: 3rd September 2008

I hope it helped in removing your confusion regarding dates.

You have send your application well before last date.

hey! i sent my form on the 19/08/08 which is just one day before the deadline. online the status says application received. so i dont have to worry now do i? and what is IIFT going to send back to me? prospectus and admit card for the test or just the admit card? any idea when they send this/these item/s by?

in the online application; does the bar code have a number with it?
whenever i try to submit it; one black & while bars come; no number adjacent to it..?
above which an image comes which is not seeable[only a rectangle]

Its last date of sale of prospectus by post,i guess its the last date for students to request for IIFT prospectus by post.(Not sure though)

But coming to your case i am assuming that you have applied online and have sent across the print out of your computer generated online form which is well ahead of time,as the last date for completed application form to reach iift is 3rd sept 08.

i think 03/09/2008 is the last date for receiving hard copy of application at IIFT irrespective of how one has applied----online or offline
so anyone who has applied online or bought the form online still has time to send it...

N.B.---kindly confirm about the last date for forms bought online...

this is probably happening coz u may be using the firefox use the internet explorer ........ same thing happened to me when i was using the ff
