Hi...
IBSAT exam does not work like the others exams..
the cut off's are not announced...and no one can predict them.
Everyone gets an interview call..unless you have done major mistakes in the paper...
its not a CUT OFF based paper...
in case you are eligible for scholarship based on your performance in the IBSAT...in your letter for the interview, you are notified about the same.
sorry for the late reply..
got caught up with something.

many of my friends had the same issue..
from the first of May, its nothing major...jusr prepratory classes....
you can bunk them by seeking a prior permission...
its all possible...dont worry
the various other specializations are:
IT, Operations, HR, Marketing, Banking and Insurance....
you can take a dual specialization too...
good luck

good wishes and regards

Hello Puys,

I amnot sure whether thsi would be the right thread to ask the following question regarding ICFAI hyd 1 Year Executive MBA course:

1. How was the placement last year?
2. what were the profiles on offer during plcement?
3. How's the student profile i.e. work ex etc who have already enrolled in the programme.

if possible do PM the details to me.

Regards,

If ur not confident of cracking Snap, go for IBSAT atleast ull have one backup

there is no institute wise specialisation - marketing & finance are the most popular specialisations across campuses. Hydbd/Gurgaon are particularly good for Finance though.

Apart from IT sector, you could go after Retail sector which needs lot of ops guys for SCM...

btw would suggest you to take some marketing electives too to make it marketing+Ops - so tht u are elgibile for all companies that visit campus.

in a grim economy situation, jobs may dry up, so pays not to be in a very very niche specialisation.

hydbd/mumbai/gurgaon are good even kolkata/bangalore/chennai etc are decent enough. basically ul get loads of opportunities to prove yourself, so its not the campus that matters, more of YOU that matter. same companies visit most of the above campuses with similar profiles.

anyways do rankings matter to you at all ? as per zee ranking **** is No1 b school

Yeah! Dude you are absolutely right. Reading Surveys means Washing Out Brains... After each and every survey people read... some misconceptions get arises for a particular B-School

From now onwards I will STOP reading surveys

But will have a glance at PG B-School Survey
