I am not in IRMA but i can answer you query well...............Not all the IRMANs are posted in rural area only if you choose to work with the NGo who works in the rural araes then only you need to work in villages.Two of my friend pass ouy from IRMA this year and one is working with SKS microfinance in Bangalore where other girl is with ICICI in delhi.

There is famous saying about IRMA that "IRMANs are not behind money it does not mean money is not behind IRMANs"

List of companiesyou van get from website few are ICICI, itc, hdfc, amul, etc etc
2. Industry rate IRMANs very high and there is no upper limit, few years down the line corporate world is open as it is open for any other Good B school graduate.
3. Distress fund is becuase few irmans choose to work with NGO who involves in meaningfull work and can not provide very good salary so distresse fund is for them else if you choose to work in corporate world i can assure you that you do not need any fund but will contribute in it.

this is the problem and this is the third time i am asking this

1.ISSUING AUTHORITY IS ims and the date shud be the date on which u bought the form
2.fill the form with black ball point pen
3.its not necessary to send the form in the same envelope and yes u need to write ur name and address on it.
4.no u need not send anything else except the form.apart from form if applicable caste certificate and sponsorship certificate if u are an industry sponsored candidate.
5.i m not sure abt this.i will call irma today and resolve this query of urs....

this is my second attempt at irma so i think u can trust me with the answers above..

I applied online last year, this time though I bought the form from IMS. My query is similar to bhandari's - do we need to send the payment receipt along with the application form? Or is it okay if I just fill in the receipt no. in the allocated box in the application form.

There is no checklist provided in the IRMA prospectus like in the CAT bulletin... hence this anxiety
