ur cutoff estimates are a bit high...just have a look at the prospectus of IRMA..it says overall cutoff at 80..it will only give u a call...but to convert at this score wud be mighty difficult...have a few aquaintances studying at irma and few of my closest buddies are at ximb...thats why i can give u the exact figures...u can trust me on that...at this point of time guys i wud say concentrate on xat if u are applyin ximb(rm) under xat..first get a call and i assure u of a lot of assistance in gd pi prep..dont worry investement in ximb rm is not a bad option.....

it seems that most of the test takers have done well.i felt that the test was a race against time.my attempts
verbal-31,quant-33,reason-44,gk-46,total--154.
hope that most of the answers are correct.most of the analysis say that the gk was difficult.with a little bit reading and interest in rural dev and socio-economic dev, one could have done reasonbly well in this section.

The figures which are there in the IRMA pros are those of last year and taking into consideration that this year no of applicants are bound to rise by atleast 10% and the paper was also not that difficult, I have given these figures
As far as XIMB RP is concerned....i would like you to please give a clear picture in relation to the cut offs of last year & also through XAT if u can through ur buddies over there....

the irma site has announced some changes in the gd/pi schedule.as per the brochure it was scheduled form feb9-21.but they have revised it as feb 2-12.the announcement also say that the written results will be out by dec 27,a slight departure form the earlier firm date of dec 27. the delay in finalsing the test results is killing.with 10-12 thousand ppl taking the test they could have declared the results much earlier.seems that they are going at a very relaxed pace.

the fact with irma selection is that the written marks get scaled to a max of 50.the gd is worth 10marks.the key lies in the pi.suppose one person got 80 marks in the test and another got 100 and both are short listed.in the scale of 50 they become 20 and 25 respectively.the 20 mark advantage in the test is reduced to 5.with good gd and pi,the former can get an admission,while the latter may lose due to poor gd/pi.

if you have got the gk questions right,with ur good scores in other sections you can expect a call.just go through the analysis of the test, available in the sites of coaching institutes.they are all giving low cut offs for gk.good luck.

this incident came to me recently.one of my friends vivek,who wrote the test is not sure of properly bubbling the register number.he is worried as he has done the test well.he is sure that he has written the numbers in the boxes but not sure whether he has bubbled it.any idea on what could happen if his doubts become true.
