I think U shld go for SIIB and SCIT..SIOM is bit tough for u..in SCIT u can apply for ISS, SSM, and NITI.

U have such a varying work ex that it is difficult to comment that how much consideration will be given. What I know that consideration is given to full time work ex only, but I guess for SCIT u should mention all ur work ex as many of my batch mates did the same..
as far as branch is considered..with this kind of score I feel u shld aim for SSM and NITI (my "PERSONAL" opinion)..rest is us interest...

Among SSM and NITI. NITI has the lower cutoff.
uptill last year ISS was having lowest cutoff

Hey please help me with this.

I go to Online Registration - SCIT and log in using my Snap ID and password.

I've filled in all my details in the my form section. When i check the form from preview, everything shows as completed.

my payment has been completed.

Now when I go to summary, I have to fill in most of the info again, thats still ok but when I click "register" from the summary page after filling in all the details it just shows "registration failed. please try again". Its making me very frustrated. I am using IE under windows XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all thanks to all of you for helping scit aspirants like me...

My queries:

1> My SNAP score- 50(GK-14),adding all the additional marks[10+5 for 60%+ and BCA(computer application)] i am getting a total score of 65,it might increase by 2 marks.
I was interested in Systems,but not sure of the cut-offs.Can i expect a call for system specilisation?
**this question is killing me from the last 15 days..pls help me out*

2> How good is SCIT-systems and Networks for people who want to be entrepreneur? Any special program or forum?

3> As mentioned in the website,there are separate dates for each round of gd/pi(this was answered by 1 of the senior in the earlier post but i din't get it),so does it mean that we need to come for the second round again providing we clear the first round?

4> I have made the payment through credit card for systems specilisation,if i want to apply for 1 more program,can i pay it through credit card or is it necessary to send the dd along with application?

5> Will BCA be considered in the computer application graduation degree,and will i get the additonal 5 marks for that?

1) if u r getting 65 as ur predictive score then I think it will be a tough call for u for getting Systems..bcoz last year Systems closed on 70 something..so keep ur fingers crossed is what I can say to u rite now..

2) Systems and Networks two completely different branches. I mean u need not to be frm some specific branch to be an entrepreneur. I will suggest u to chk the syllabus of both the streams..and probably will suggest u too fill form for NITI as well at this score.
We do have an entrepreneur cell for ppl who are interested to do something in IT field..although it is in infancy stage..but its picking up well

3) suppose u get call for ITBM (for example) then all the ITBM ppl will be called on same day for the complete process. It depends on number of applicants for a particular streams..thus in case if it happens that there are two many ppl to be handled in one day then rest of u will be called on next day (ur dates will be given accordingly) but if all is normal then everything happens in one day only..but in case exception happens (which rarely is the case) then plan with one day in buffer..hop u getting what I m trying to say

4) Need to chk out this..as not handling the tech part of the form filling process..will suggest u to call up the office directly and chk it out. or shoot a mail to help desk of SCIT

5) Yeah I believe that BCA should be considered as Comp based degree.

hi puys..
people i need some help....m luking forward to apply for scit n i am intrested in software development mba...but their cut off is being displayed as 67...and m getting total score of 55 i.e. 40 snap score..+5 for above 60 % in 10th n 12th..+5 for being form computer apllication background..etc..and my profile is as follows:-
1) 10th-68%
2) 12th-65%
3)bca (ug)- 80%...

what are my chance of getting a call from scit is there any chance??shud i apply..please help me soon as dates r going to be over...
