i have a small doubt.......i have completed my diploma in comps sci after 10th and then did my degree in engg.....
due to this i get admission to the 2nd year of engineering directly.....

at present...SCIT website mentions tht it is mandatory to fill in 10th, 12th and 1st yr marks.............in my case it doesnt apply...

accordingly wen i leave it blank.....the field appears as N/A..........is it fine if i keep the same as blank or do i need to fill somethin in it

Well ISS and SSM are 2 different courses and unique in their own respects.. its ur call which one u wanna go for.. even the job profile related to both the courses will be quite diff.. with ISS, you can look at being a security analyst, while SSM will be more into software solutions and stuff.. If you have an inclination towards programming, then i guess SSM will be a better choice.. i suggest u to go thru the following link and decide for urself.. Welcome to SCIT

Just a point of concern I would like to share with you all. It may happen that you guys may decide your preference based on the cutoffs of last year , If you are doing or deciding like dat then please avoid it.
What I want to say is that in SCIT there is nothing like flagship course of something sort of that. All the 5 courses being offered by SCIT are unique and focuses on a niche area. So I would emphasize again and again that decide your preference based on your "interest level"..

as far as cutoffs are concerned..I do agree that we tend to develop a feeling that more the cutoff the more th popular is the course and then shape our choices accordingly..but trust me out here cutoffs are just a way of handling the number of applicants for a specific course...don't undermine any course just one the basis of last years cutoffs..

this was something which I wanted to share with u all guys..because over the time since last three years I have seen this happening ( aspirant, 08-10 batch and upcoming batch)...thats why thought of sharing this with u ppl...

pls pls pls..go by ur interest..it will pay u..and ur professional growth in future...

If u are applying with reserved category then there is a gud chance of getting a call..so go for it..

I checked the website and its not very clear to me.This is what website says..
