Thanks Rahul..It was of great help..another thing if you could help me with, since I am into this industry from 3 years already and my current package is of the likes of average package cmpanies are offering here(got d info from some of this years and yesteryears thread)..What would be your views fpr me applying for this 2-years MBA.. I intend to ask here, are there any kind of lateral placements happening here?? or people with work-ex get better packages?? I understand that an MBA from any stream here would add a lot to the resume, I was just wondering about my ROI since experienced.. Request your help buddy..

Hey Sudhanshu..
I got a similar profile like urs.. 2 yrs exp in IT n rite now working for a top MNC.. Even I was worried initally about this ROI stuff since even my pkg is pretty decent by the industry standards if not the best.. But then I guess it depends more on Why u wanna do MBA?? for some its a better pkg, for some a better job profile, some wanna switch career path.. or may be all of the above.. You mus be knowin it very well that rite now in IT, we got a lot of options to grow in career via certifications, tech courses, etc.. but then as u mentioned an MBA degree from a well recognized B-school does make a lot of difference.. according to me, its completely our call.. obviously ppl with industry will have an extra edge during placements.. I guess Rahul has already mentioned in previous posts that they were plannin lateral placements but it kinda went haywire due to the RECESSION thing.. (Correct me if I am wrong Rahul)
Some defeats are more triumphant than victories...

See after this year's mayhem in placement I just can't say ne thing for laterals. Although ppl with work-ex are increasing with every passing year, but as I told earlier also that this time around we projected our lateral strength as well but some how bcoz of the market situation..things just didn't click. I feel that down the lline 2 years from now things will be different and laterals will surely get their due..so think for future and take ur decision..hope it helps
Keep rocking..

if ur score id 68, you should get call from iss, niti, ssm.
systems is also worth taking chance as paper was difficult this year...and scores may come down a bit.....
check ur score according to this year criteria...its on website...in Eligibility criteria for admission.
