I have few questions in mind, if you can clarify them :
- Will giving GMAT / SPJAT and earning a high score (over CAT 89.31%ile) add weightage to my profile?

Yes you can strenghthen ur profile on this front by maximising the scores I think SPJAT is not very difficult and you may achieve high 90's in that.As you have already studied for CAT.don't know how much weightage this has in screening but u can certainly give it a shot!

- Does applying to the course at an early stage matters (i.e. in the first months when the admission opens). When is the right time to apply for the course if i fulfill all the requirements)
As answered previously a definite yes.You can find the same views while going thru the last intakes threads that the sooner u apply the better r the chances.

- I will be having 24 months of work exp in Jun2 2008 in IT field. So if i apply for IT management, do my chances of getting into the college gets higher?

Being into the IT field 24 months will add value to IT spez n this thing u have to show in the interview and even b4 tht in the screening form (Do mention ur work appreciation instances, client appreciation will be gold 4 this)

Thanks,
Priyanka
Hope it helps !

Hi Pradeep,

My earlier attempt and the understanding of SPJCM admission process suggests that SPJCM looks for diversity and quality experience.

As you are an Australian citizen you would have a demographical edge over most of us, but with just about 1 year of experience you may have to score well in GMAT to stand a good chance to crack SPJCM. Competition is quite tough especially in Finance streams.

Thanks for the reply Amit

I had some more doubts...

1)What is the fee structure of S.P.Jain singapore and does that include the transit from singapore to dubai

2)Which is the best progam with good placements

2)Does the IT management program have good placements

Hi All,

I am Kamal, and like you all, I am a GMBA Aspirant. I have written the SPJAT twice, however it was pretty late I guess for the May 2008 intake. Would suggest that all of us here take the test as soon as possible and get a call for the DEC 2008 intake.

I have just called the Mumbai office and they said that the admission process would start from June 9th'08

Regards
Kamal

Hi Archana,

Your acad's look very good, would suggest that you give in your GMAT pretty early so that you can have your seat sealed for the Dec intake. I am planning to take it in sep. However you can also take the SPJAT as soon as the admission process starts.

As for ur shift....I have no idea....ask the Guru's

Regards
Kamal

1. Fee structure around 15L and does not include fare.
2. finance is best for placement
3. IT management has decent placements.
