There is no need to study much before the course starts. You will get to study sufficient once it does You will have only basic courses in your 1st sem like marketing, eonomics, org. mgmt, quantitative methods. If you want to study, have a look through harold koontz's management book. It will give you a complete picture and put all the subjects in perspective. ATB!

In the previous posts it is mentioned that some foreign placements were offered but refused by the students.
Can anyone please throw some light on this...I mean what were the reasons for declining these offers and what is the scope of foreign placements at iit-d.

freiends we should try to save this thread from dying becoz. of lack of activity. seniors plz. come forward to help waitlist junta to pour in your commrnts and updates.
i think the w/l movement is quite slow or crawling in iit-d compared to other institutes. like in NMIMS has cleared more than 160 . and you will be surprised to know that even in IIM-A the w/l has been cleared upto 45 and in xlri-bm it is more than 50 , also in IIM-B IT is around 20

People who are leaving DMS for other institutes kindly apply for withdrawal asap. This would ensure the timely filling up of seats by the WL junta.

congrats a-zach for your convert this has also given relief to many waitlisters like me .hope to meet you some point of time.
mow for the waitlisters i think this big movement in sjmsom and other b-schools like xlri,fms,iims,mdi, spjain ,must result in atleast 20 more waitlist movement rapidlyand much more to follow.

though not very relevant.. i am waitlisted at 36 in delhi.. but won't be taking it up cause i converted sjmsom. One number up for all those behind me.
