i request the seniors and the puys associated with this thread to update the status of w/l movement i think the movement in w/l of iit-d is quite slower after iim results than what we have expected . and i believe the time is running fast . i have found that person at w/l no. 6 has send his d.d. but what about others as someone wrote in this thread that few seats of dlt were still vacant . am dying to get into iit-d

We have already paid our fees. Is it possible now that our fee be hiked. Here is an article appearing in the news abt fee hike. Can you confirm this?

@ All: Firstly, I apologise for my absence all these days, exams.. hostel net.. Now I am home for a week, so will assure my regularity.

IIMs have given till May 19th to pay up their fees. I think that is the reason why the waitlist hasn't moved much.

Abt the fees hike: Don't worry now, the fees that has mentioned is what we want now, if the hike is implemented, wait for official intimation from the Department.

@All, please join the yahoo and orkut groups. There is a wide disparity between the number of drafts received by us and the number of actual members.

ohh... good to hear some official words after a long time... today is the last day to submit fees for the w/l people u called last week... now can u confirm by tomorrow till wat wl number u have called and how many u would be calling in a day or two...
somebody on the thread said till wl 6 u have called and other said till wl 10...

i would like to hear some official word as it will give us some fair idea of converting the call...

In first list of 75 , around 67 ppl paid the fees (unofficial source) !!
i think WL will move more once IIT B WL starts rolling

so hope for the best !!!!

if this is true that only 8 people have not submitted fees i think it is going to be really difficult for waitlisters like me(waitlisted at 25) to convert in the second list of successful candidates from waiting list

its not the case ..
i think most of WL movement will start once ppl start getting admission confirmation from IIM s !!!!

@Those who have converted:

All of you please inform us about the status of your admissions. Tell us about the other calls that you have, and whether you would be preferring some other college to IIT D subject to convert there.
And if IIT D is your best convert, please inform that as well.

The waitlisted students are predictably worried about their chances, and this info will give them an estimate of how much the WL will move over the next few days.

@ Waitlisters:
Anxiety totally understood. But please wait a couple of days. Even we dont know how many would cancel. I sincerely hope all of you get into DMS.
